The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of (7) years relevant current progressive experience, with a minimum of three (3) years management experience in a public accounting role.

This position is ONSITE in an office setting.
Location:
Gibbstown, NJ (08027) Position Overview Reporting to Director of Accounting, this position will manage all aspects of our financial reporting cycle, including preparation of financial statements and development, maintenance and refinement of financial reporting policies, practices and procedures for the Company and its domestic and foreign subsidiaries.
The Global Financial Reporting Manager will enhance the month-end internalfinancial reporting and utilize their knowledge and further research and implement emergingtechnologiesto improve accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Essential Job Functions:
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycle including preparation of consolidated financial statements and other internal reports.
Responsible for accuracy and completeness of consolidated and combined financial statements.
Manage the annual review process.
Responsible for preparation of supporting tax schedules necessary for year-end tax report of the corporation (tax filing is outsourced to outside accountant).
Prepare various analysis, financial schedules, and divisional reports.
Prepare financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining information.
Interpret and analyze financial information posted to general ledger accounts.
Perform necessary reconciliation (Balance Sheet, P&L) and analysis.
Research balance sheet items and income/expense fluctuations utilizing various systems and information sources.
Keep current with new accounting pronouncements.
Develop accounting models for new business ventures.
Research complex accounting issues, identify applicable GAAP, and prepare position papers.
Establish, improve, and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting.
Develop and update policies and procedures as needed.
Supervise Financial reporting accountant.
Play crucial role in implementing new financial reporting software, including ERP, CPM and Business Intelligence tools or upgrades for department improvement and efficiency.
Provide guidance and training to other team members.
Assist with other projects.
Qualifications:
A minimum of seven (7) years relevant current progressive experience.
A minimum of three (3) years management experience.
Combination of public accounting (assurance services) experience and financial reporting or strictly public accounting- assurance services- preferred.
Experience in consolidations required.
Experience in application of complex accounting principles, ability to research and reach well-reasoned conclusions on technical accounting issues.
Excellent oral, written, listening, and presentation skills and ability to clearly articulate complex information to others.
Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
Proven ability to perform under deadlines, to adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirements.
Must be an effective team player.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office applications, Proficiency with accounting research tools and techniques.
Microsoft D365 knowledge preferred, but not required.
Manufacturing Industry experience preferred, but not required.

Education/Certifications:
A Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
A CPA license (active or inactive) required.
